Steven Lawson is a second-year graduate student in the Social Work program at Metropolitan State University of Denver, working towards his MSW. In his previous lives before pursuing a Masters in Social Work, Steven obtained his Bachelor of Science in Music from CU Denver, taught guitar to kids, and spent eight long years in the tech industry as a Frontend Developer. Steven has personal experience with EMDR as a client since 2015, which shapes a deep appreciation for the therapeutic process from both sides of the room! He values creating a space where clients feel genuinely seen and supported as they work toward meaningful change.
Outside of his clinical work, Steven enjoys music, spending time with his dog and wonderful girlfriend. He continues to write and record music with his band.
